FERPA Compliance Training
Goal: Ensuring that educators and teachers understand common pitfalls and best practices when it comes to privacy related to IEP/504 interventions.
Problem: Educators are not aware of US law as it relates to FERPA protection for their students. This can lead to teachers putting themselves and districts at risk of legal action.
Solution: A training program was developed that would not only ensure educators are all trained equally, but serve as a review tool to reduce the forgetting curve. This elearning course will be taken individually by each teacher to assess their knowledge and skills after completing a previous training program.
Results: A course that walks educators through realistic situations where they must make the best decisions for their students in order to advance.
